Miami Heat vs Portland Trail Blazers - The Miami seem to pick up right where they left off as they start a 3-game road swing over Portland on Thursday. The heat passed into the NBA All-Star break in the midst of their longest winning streak.
Their two key players Dwyane Wade and LeBron James lead the way for the Miami, outscoring other teams by an average of 16.5 points during the last eight-game run. The duo knocks off Jeremy Lin and New York Knicks in a 102-88 home win last Thursday. Both transcended during the All-Star game with James scored 36 points for the East and Wade became the player to post a triple-double 24 points, ten rebounds and ten assists.
Each team had a win in the other's arena. Portland failed to kickoff the second half of the season in a disappointing 104-95 loss againt Denver Nuggets on Wednesday. Blazers was outrebounded 54-36, delivering a season-worst 21 boards on offense. Though Trail Blazers had a tough road this season, they blew out the vising San Antonio Spurs 137-97 and had a 97-77 victory against Atlanta Hawks on February 18.
