Nashville Predators vs Pittsburgh Penguins - The lone meeting of the season between the two teams. Pittsburgh snapped a 8-4 victory against Winnipeg Jets  with Evgeni Malkin scoring twice and Sidney Crosby marked a 4 assists in his first home match in over 3 months.

The victory enabled the Penguins to secure an 11-game winning streak and a rebound from an overtime deficit to the Philadelphia Flyers last Sunday. Pittsburgh have won eight consecutive home meetings giving them the longest active wiining streak in the league.

Predators beat the Edmonton Oilers 6-3 on Tuesday with goalie Pekka Rinne scoring three goals over seven shots. It has been marked this season that Rinne was pulled for the sixth time following another clash over Oilers at home. Nashville ranked fourth in the Western Conference, managing 42 wins and 92 points with nine remaining regular-season games.
