New Jersey Devils vs New York Rangers - New Jersey have won two of their first three games, including a 4-3 shootout on January 31. This will be the fourth of six meetings between the teams.

New Jersey once again failed to get a goal in a 4-3 loss against Tampa Bay Lightning on last weekend. Sunday's defeat has dropped the Devils from fourth to sixth place in the Eastern Conference. Their previous one-goal loss might give them a problem as they travel acrooss the Hudson River to play against the first-ranked Blueshirts.

Devils captain Zach Parise made two goals and one assist in his recent five contests. Rangers forward Marian Gaborik managed a goal with 19 points in his last five games. New York bounced back with a 3-2 overtime win over the Buffalo Sabres with the help of right wing Ryan Callahan who scored a game winning, a 100th NHL goal for his career.

The Rangers will be without defenseman Michael Sauer, while Travis Zajac and Henrik Tallinder is out indefinitely.
